Aguilar joins Fintrac as an administrative assistant to support Fintrac's EDA (Entrenamiento y Desarollo de Agricultores) project office in Honduras.

Aguilar is an agronomist with Fintrac EDA. He has more than four years in related experience and a degree in agronomy.

Aguilar joins Fintrac in Honduras after working as a production supervisor for a dairy processing company. He graduated from EAP-Zamorano with a degree in industrial agriculture. He speaks Spanish and English.

Abayneh has 30 years of experience in coffee production and marketing. He has worked extensively in Ethiopia in all aspects of coffee cultivation and marketing. With the Ethiopia Coffee and Tea Authority, he was responsible for increasing quality and production of the country’s coffee and tea. He has a master’s in plant science and agronomy.

Alvarez is a field technician for Honduras EDA. He has 11 years of experience in melon production. He worked for Chestnut Hill Farms, Agrogolfo, and Agrícola de Rosario (AGROSA). He has a B.S. in agronomy.

Araujo joins Fintrac in Honduras to help maintain and collect data from the field to monitor progress for the EDA program. He has a degree in computer science.

Arias is currently the production manager for the USAID-RED program. He was previously a technical representative for Fintrac’s CDA program. He has five years experience in providing technical assistance and training to growers in various regions of Honduras. He previously worked for Dole Honduras in melon production and export.

Assefa is working to support personnel in Fintrac's office in Addis Ababa during the implemenation of the Agribusiness and Trade Expansion Activity. She now has a Diploma in Accounting.

Avila is a field technician for USAID-RED. He has five years of experience in technology transfer for crop production. He has a degree in agricultural engineering and previously worked as an independent vegetable grower and for FUNDER.

Subarna Lal Bajracharya is the manager of finance and contracting for NFRP. He has 25+ years of experience working with multilateral development agencies and holds a Ph.D in Cash Management.

Banegas is working with the RED team in Honduras. She has four years of related experience and a degree in business administration.

Banjaw is helping things run smoothly for Fintrac personnel on the busy streets of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, while working with the ATEA project.

Barillas is a processing specialist with USAID-RED. He focuses on food safety and processing improvements. He has a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering and eight years of experience as a quality control and operations manager.

Tiruneh is a veterinarian and has researched and treated parasitic diseases for more than 30 years. He is working to eradicate the skin diseases affecting livestock in Ethiopia. He has worked at the government level and with the private sector and is recognized for his research and control of animal parasites and skin disease.

Melaku has extensive experience in horticulture development and specializes in irrigation. Previously, Melaku worked as a consultant for 800 hectares of a variety of crops. He has a master’s in agriculture science.

Blyden joins the Virgin Islands office with four years of experience in administration and previously worked for Banco Popular. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Bonilla joins Fintrac in Honduras with more than five years of experience in agribusiness project implementation for governement agencies and the private sector. He has a degree in agricultural economics.

Briceño joins Fintrac as a project administrator for EDA. She has a master's degree in finance and more than 15 years of related experience.

Calvert has 20 years of experience in food security, vulnerability assessment, relief and rural development in Asia, Africa and the Pacific. He comes to Fintrac following a post with FAO/Nairobi where he managed technical and administrative functions of FAO/Somalia's food security analysis unit.

Carballo joins Fintrac's monitoring and evaluation team in El Salvador with five years of experience in agriculture production and management for various crop systems and worked for organizations including CENTA, CAPOSA and SYNGENTA. She has a degree in agronomy.

Chesire is the manager of finance and administration for the KHDP. She previously worked for Century Advertising and Kenya Airways in Nairobi and has a degree in business management.

Cho joins Fintrac EDA as an agronomist with more than a decade in related experience and has a degree in agriculture.

Corpeno is a senior manager for Fintrac’s IDEA project in El Salvador. He was formerly the national coordinator for CENTA’s vegetable program and director of production at Fusades’ La Colina farms.

De Molina has more than a decade of experience in processing and farm administration. She has a degree in civil engineering and joins Fintrac in El Salvador to administrate USAID-ADP.

Demissie joins Fintrac's team in Ethiopia as the Health Sector Manager for the ATEP program. He has a bachelor's degree in nursing and has held management positions for health clinics and various programs focusing on HIV/AIDS, household strengthening and public health.

Diaz is working with Fintrac's RED program as a technical representative. He has experience as a sales representative for national and international agricultural supply companies and previously worked for Dole supervising pineapple crops. He has a degree in agronomy.

Fernandez de Castro has a master’s in international development and a degree in business administration. She speaks English, Spanish and French and previously coordinated projects for a nonprofit for sustainable development in Argentina.

Fikru joins Fintrac in Ethiopia with expertise in economic policy development and investment and marketing strategies. He has worked for UNICEF, the United Nations and the InterAfrica Group.

Funez joins Fintrac in Honduras with more than 10 years of experience in integrated pest management for government institutions and schools and as a private consultant. He has a master's degree in integrated pest management.

Jose Gabrie is a EUREPGAP implementation specialist for Fintrac EDA. He has extensive experience with the implementation of good agricultural practices, HACCP, ISO and EUREPGAP for international fresh and processed produce companies.

Galindo joins Fintrac as an agronomist with EDA. He has more than five years of experience and a degree in agriculture.

Gambo is a KHDP field manager for the Coast Province in Kenya. She earned a zoology, botany and chemistry degree from Panjab University and has extensive experience working with palm and coconut industries in Kenya.

Geremew joins Fintrac in Ethiopia to support and develop agriculture exports. He has expertise in managing and marketing products, particularly cereals, pulses and oilseeds and he works closely with all value-chain organizations. He has B.S. in agronomy and speaks Amharic and English.

Tafesse has worked in Ethiopia's hides, skins and leather subsector for more than 15 years. He has degrees in management and leather technology and speaks Amharic and English.

Gutierrez is a postharvest assistant in Honduras. He previously worked for FHIA on a diversification program, with a focus on tropical roots, and for Chiquita and Tela Railroad, specializing in banana production and postharvest handling.

Gutierrez is a plantain production specialist in Honduras for the USAID-RED program. He graduated from UNAH/CURLA in Honduras with a degree in agronomy.

Habte joins Fintrac's team in Ethiopia with a degree in agribusiness management and experience as a researcher with FARM Africa.

Handal joins Fintrac EDA as an agronomist. He has more than 15 years of related experience and a degree in agriculture.

Hernandez joins Fintrac in El Salvador with an engineering degree in information systems. He has experience with myriad computer programs and Web site and software creation and maintenance.

Kebede joins Fintrac's team in Ethiopia with more than 20 years of experience in horticulture. He has a degree in crop production and protection and was previously a farm manager for a large production company.

Kelbiso has more than 30 years of experience in horticulture operations. He has a diploma an crop science and speaks Amharic, English and Kembatigna.

Kifleyesus joins Fintrac's Ethiopian team with more than 30 years of experience in horticultural development. She has a degree in horticulture and speaks Amharic, English and Tigrigna.

Joseph Kirori supervises a pool of eight vehicles for Fintrac's HDC project in Kenya.

Kisamo has experience working in floriculture and airline industries, specifically in business administration, marketing, and financial management. He has also conducted research on improving the competitive performance of the floriculture export industry.

Nolvia brings 10 years of experience as a financial coordinator and technical assistant to Honduras EDA. She speaks Spanish and English and previously worked for SAG and the International Food Policy Research Institute. She has a MBA.

Glenn Levine has 12 years of experience in database design, Web development, GIS and information management. He joins Fintrac after a job as a technial advisor with FEWSNET where he developed a knowledge base of market, production, population and health/nutrition data in partnership with NASA, NOAA, USDA and USGS. He has bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Economics from Rutgers University.

Lewis joins Fintrac with more than 15 years of experience in accounting and previously worked for the West Indian Company, the gatekeeper for cruise lines in the Virgin Islands. She has a master’s in business administration and B.S. in accounting.

Liben joins Fintrac's Ethiopian team with more than nine years of experience in irrigation and agronomy. He has a master's in GIS and a B.S. in agriculture.

López joins the RED team with more than five years of related experience. He has a master’s in project administration and is fluent in Spanish and English.

Suresh Manandhar joins Fintrac from CEDA where he worked in all aspects of economic development. He is both an administrative and procurement officer for NFRP

Maradiaga is the production manager for USAID-JBRP and previously was a head adviser for Fintrac in Honduras. He also worked for several major commercial melon operations in Honduras.

Martinez joins Fintrac in Honduras with more than five years of experience in crop development and agriculture systems management. He has a degree in agronomy.

B.B. Mathema joins Fintrac as Deputy Chief of Party to NFRP and Livelihoods Income Generation Specialist. He has 30+ years of experience in agricultural production, distribution and marketing of staple food crops and high-value agriculture products. Mathema also has past experience as a COP on a USAID project (2.5 years with Chemonics MARD project) in the late 90s.

Melesse has a degree in agricultural economics and more than 12 years of experience working in monitoring and evaluation and project management for government agencies and NGOs.

Méndez joins Fintrac as an IT specialist to support the RED program in Honduras. He has a degree in computer science and more than 10 years of experience in the IT field.

Mengistu is supporting Fintrac's Ethiopia staff by making sure things run smoothly from A to B on the busy streets of Addis Ababa.

Mersia is helping support Fintrac's Ethiopia team as an administrative assistant with the Agribusiness and Trade Expansion Activity. She recently received a diploma in Information Technology.

Miselem is a field technician for MCA EDA. He has 12 years of related experience as field and laboratory inspector and technical assistance supervisor in tobacco production. He has a degree in Agricultural Engineering.

Mauricio Moncada is the project manager for USAID-RED. He has a degree in business administration. Moncada worked previously as a production department administrator and sales manager for CADECA, a Central American poultry company. He also has experience as an independent business owner.

Ryan is an IT specialist with two years of experience in Web design and development. Before joining Fintrac, he worked for Sen. Adlah Donastorg Jr. in the Virgin Islands.

Before Mulandi joined Fintrac's team in Kenya he was CEO of the Kenya Flower Council and managing director of Kenya’s Horticultural Crops Development Authority. Mulandi advises the KHDP on designing and implementing flower production and marketing programs. He has a master’s in Agricultural Economics.

Mulugeta is supporting Fintrac's Agribusiness and Trade Expansion Activity team as an assistant in the busy Addis Ababa office.

Muñoz joins Fintrac as an agronomist with the EDA program. He has more than 15 years of experience and a degree in crop protection.

Murillo joins Fintrac in Honduras after working with Chiquita and as an irrigation expert. He has a degree in agronomy from the University of San Pedro Sula.

Musyoki provides IT support for Fintrac's HDC program. He has a degree in computer science and is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Ndune joins Fintrac in Kenya with a bachelor's degree in commerce and numerous certificates in computer applications. She is working to collect and analyze data from the field as part of the monitoring and evaluation team.

Negash joins Fintrac's Ethiopian team with more than 20 years of experience in coffee production. He has a master's degree in crop protection and speaks Amharic, English and Yemsa.

Ngugi has 13 years of experience in commercial horticulture. She previously managed horticultural production facilities at Uniflora Ltd. and has a degree in horticulture.

Based in Embu, Kenya, Njuguna has 15 years of horticultural research experience with an emphasis on vegetable production. She worked previously with KARI at the National Horticulture Research Centre.

Njuki is the office assistant for Fintrac's HDC Project. She is based Nairobi, Kenya.

Nunez joins the RED team in Honduras with more than 15 years of experience in agricultural development and has a degree in agronomy.

Nyale joins Fintrac in Kenya with a B.S. in horticulture and field and research experience with NGOs, government agencies and private companies in Kenya. She has experience in improving quality for a range of crops, nursery management, crop planning and quality control for exports.

Based in Eldoret, Kenya, Nyamota has 13 years of related commercial experience with an emphasis on vegetable and fruit crops. He worked previously with the Common Ground Program and the Environmental Action Team (EAT) in Kenya. He holds a BS in Horticulture.

Nzou joins KHDP with more than five years in communications and has significant work experience in public relations, publications writing, editing and graphics design. She has a bachelor's degree in commmunications and a diploma in information technology.

Ochwada worked previously as a farm and outgrower manager for large production and marketing operations of vegetables and flowers. He also has extensive experience supporting suppliers for EU codes of practice and supermarket protocols.

Odhiambo joins Fintrac in Kenya to develop businesses in the horticulture value chain. He has logistics and business management experience supporting value chains for USAID projects, NGOs, and various private companies and is pursuing a degree in business management.

Padilla joins Fintrac in Honduras with a degree in agronomy and a decade of experience with numerous companies and development projects in agricultural production and management for a range of crops and techniques.

Painter works in both Central American and African project management units for Fintrac, and is additionally a market analyst and member of our gender practice area, most recently coordinating the roll-out of new mainstreaming tools and benchmarks. She has degrees in Economics and English, and speaks Spanish. She has previous experience at the EPA, and in media development.

Payes is working with Fintrac in El Salvador and has vast experience as a food processing specialist and in quality assurance systems. Her business background includes managing cash flows, accounts receivable and payable and developing financial projections.

Peñate, an agronomist and agronomy engineer from El Zamorano, is a technical field adviser for the IDEA project. He works in coffee and horticulture production in the Usulután region. His experience includes advising local companies on organic coffee production, marketing, pest control, nursery management and drip irrigation systems.

Portillo is working with Fintrac's RED team in Honduras. She has a degree in business administration and speaks Spanish and English.

Redda joins Fintrac's Ethiopian team with more than 20 years of experience in commercial trade and production of grains, oilseeds and pulses. He has a degree in agriculture.

Teshome worked in leather production and supply coordination for 20 years. He previously managed a large finished leather company in Africa that produced for international markets. He was also a consultant for leather development program in Rwanda. He has degrees in management and commerce.

Reyes is an agronomic engineer working with Fintrac's RED team and has more than 15 years of experience in agricultural development.

Runyora joins KHDP after working with the Afrian Conservation Centre's baboon project where she managed and analyzed data for policy initiatives. She has a B.S. in statistics from Maseno University.

Joe Sanders holds over a decade of experience implementing donor-funded projects. His technical areas of expertise include community development, alternative livelihoods, value chain strengthening and emergency and post-conflict recovery. He has lived and worked in challenging places like Bolivia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Georgia.

Segura is a technical field adviser for Honduras EDA. He is experienced with sugar cane, basic grains and other products. He has agronomy and agronomy engineering degrees from El Zamorano and previously worked for Pronadel, Conagro and as a sales representative for Cadelga-Fertica.

Sisay joins the Ethiopian team with 6 years in related experience. She has a diploma in marketing, speaks Amharic and English and formerly worked on another USAID project in Ethiopia. She now has a Degree in Marketing Management.

Hickok Smith is an international trade and management specialist with more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of agricultural trade and consulting. She specializes in agricultural marketing and trade promotion and has worked extensively with farmers and co-ops to increase trade, incomes and employment. She has a master's in international business.

Solomon joins Fintrac's team in Ethiopia to help increase agricultural trade in the program's four sectors. She has a degree in business management and previously worked for USAID-BEAT in Ethiopia.

Soto joins Fintrac EDA as deputy director. He has more than 20 years of experience, a degree in agriculture and a master's in business administration.

Tadesse brings more than four years of computer programming experience to Fintrac's Washington, D.C. office. She has a bachelor's degree in computer science and experience in an array of operating systems and programming languages.

Torres is a field adviser for Honduras EDA and is responsible for the western regions of Honduras. He has 20 years of experience in agribusiness, production and extension. Torres previously headed extension services for the British American Tobacco Company in Honduras.

Varrieur joins Fintrac's Virgin Islands office after working for the Peace Corps in El Salvador and Ecuador. He has a master's in agriculture and significant experience in agricultural development publications and proposals.

Vinoly joins Fintrac as a project manager for the RED and MCC projects in Honduras. She has more than 15 years of professional experience in international project management, including contract negotiation, program monitoring and evaluation, and grants management. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Yanes joins Fintrac EDA as an agronomist. He has more than four years of experience and a degree in agriculture.
