Fintrac Wins Large Technology Project

September 22, 2012 - The US Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded a five-year $67 million cooperative agreement to Fintrac today. The Agricultural Commercialization and Innovations (AC&I) project is designed to improve farm productivity across the developing world by scaling up and distributing basic, transformational agricultural technologies to millions of smallholder farmers.

AC&I will identify promising technologies, inclusive of seeds, fertilizers, biological controls, irrigation systems and land preparation tools, and provide financial incentives to researchers and manufacturers to expand production and distribution channels, while measuring adoption and impact at farmer level. The primary AC&I office is in Washington, DC, with satellite offices and representatives located throughout the US and overseas.
