Fintrac is Awarded Honduras RED Project

Fintrac was successful in its bid to implement the four-year Rural Economic Diversification (RED) project in Honduras. USAID announced its decision in July and within the month, a home office team was dispatched to support the field staff with start-up activities and workplan finalization. The purpose of the project is to significantly raise rural incomes and employment across industry sectors, with an emphasis on agri- culture. Financial product development and gender mainstreaming also figure prominently. Fintrac partners include FHIA, Land O’Lakes, FOPRIDEH and El Zamorano.
