Prior roles as Honduran Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Vice Minister of State Secretariat of the Presidential Office, and national coordinator for World Bank food security project. Holds MS in Agricultural Economics.
Director of New Business |
Responsible for all aspects of new business strategy. Over 17 years' experience in food security, winning major funding from USAID’s Office of Food for Peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, and Yemen. Prior to joining Fintrac, implemented USDA funded agricultural development projects in Azerbaijan. Legislative work includes advocacy for the passage of the Global Food Security Act, which provides authorization for Feed the Future.
Deputy Chief of Party - FTF-EEFS |
A legal, regulatory and institutional reform specialist with experience analyzing constraints within the enabling environment for agriculture and food security, including seed, fertilizer, gender dimensions of cross-border trader, and scaling of technologies. Currently DCOP of the Feed the Future Enabling Environment for Food Security (EEFS) activity. Holds JD and LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law.
COP/Senior Agricultural Advisor |
Three decades of commercial agribusiness and development experience in Africa, including four years as COP on USAID-funded Kenya Horticultural Competiveness Project, which improved incomes, market access, nutritional behaviors and farming systems for a quarter million smallholders. Earlier managed production supply program for major exporter in southern Africa. Holds MS in Land and Water Management.

Almost two decades of experience in agricultural development, including two stints as COP, most recently on USAID-TAPP in Tanzania, the FTF project that successfully expanded local capacity and ownership in the horticultural value chain, and increased smallholder incomes and rural household nutrition through crop diversification and enhanced productivity. Currently providing management support to Fintrac initiatives in Central America. Holds MBA in Agro-industry, BS in Chemical Engineering.
Deputy Program Director - Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation |
Currently provides operational and strategic oversight to a FTF initiative that supports commercialization of technologies benefitting smallholder productivity. Prior experience includes management support to multi-year programs in east and southern Africa and Latin America, and to small farmers’ initiative stateside. Holds BS in Agriculture from Cornell University, and MA from Columbia University.

Responsible for strategic and operational oversight of global HR staff and activities, inclusive of legal and regulatory functions, stateside recruitment, metrics, compensation, and benefits. Over a decade of prior experience in HR, banking and finance. Holds BA in Public Communication; MPA and PHR certifications.
Director of Asia & Latin America Program Management |
Two decades of experience in project and budget management, USG regulatory compliance, and staff development. Currently provides operational guidance and oversight to project management staff supporting multi-year programs in Asia and Latin America. Prior assignments included project management for numerous USAID agricultural projects, and in-country management post in Ethiopia coordinating operational staff and PEPFAR activities. Holds BA in Political Science; MA in International Affairs from American University.
Director of Communications |
Oversees global communications staff, initiatives, and brand development; designs multi-media campaigns, videos and photo essays; repurposes evidence-based analytical reports into print and digital publications; manages proposal production processes. Prior to joining Fintrac, created first social media strategy for leading development NGO, and served as a small business consultant with the Peace Corps in Peru. Holds BA from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Food Analytics Director |
Provides operational support and oversight to analytical staff and consultants within the Food Analytics team; leads assignments in local market analyses and food assistance; and contributes to overall business analyses and development initiatives. Previously DCOP on the USAID-BEST project, and prior to joining Fintrac was program officer for USAID Farmer to Farmer program and a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia. BS in Community Development and Applied Economics; MA in Sustainable International Development.

A commercial law attorney with over 15 years' experience analyzing impediments to agricultural growth in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Southeast Europe, and the Middle East. Currently COP for Feed the Future Enabling Environment for Food Security, and previously COP for USAID-EAT, activities designed to provide USAID and its partners with cutting edge analysis of enabling environment constraints. Prior to joining Fintrac, was associate with Booz Allen Hamilton. Holds BA in International Relations and JD from George Mason University School of Law.

Two decades of experience in project, financial, and staff management; strong US government and other donor regulatory knowledge; prior positions with Pundutso Microfinance, International Rescue Committee, and Deloitte Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe. Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) UK.

Three decades of experience specializing in integrated farm management; commercial-scale cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and grains for local consumption and export; environmental mitigation and food safety protocols. Currently handles overall implementation of production program for Invest-H project; part of Fintrac senior management team since 2000. Undergraduate degree in agronomy, masters degrees in fruit and vegetable production and processing (Mississippi State University) and plant nutrition (Universidad Cartegena, Spain).

Three decades of experience in the agricultural sector including senior management positions with Dole and Fintrac in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Well-versed in smallholder income-generation, climate change adaptation and mitigation, agronomic practices, farm chemical safety, postharvest technologies, supply chain logistics, value addition, nutrition; most recently COP for Cambodia HARVEST. Holds a BS in Plant Pathology from the University of Georgia.

Provides management and policy oversight to the USAID-KAVES project as DCOP; prior 25 years included positions with USAID/Kenya and the Tegmeo Institute, advising on regional trade and investment issues, program design and management, stakeholder and implementing partner organization capacity building, and agricultural policy development. Holds BA in Economics and MS in Agriculture Economics from the University of Nairobi.

Prior to joining Fintrac six years ago, spent more than a decade with the Department of Livestock Production and Development in the Zimbabwe Ministry of Agriculture. Holds MS in Animal Science, and PhD in Dairy Science from South Dakota State University.

Currently leading technical curricula development for major online training initiative, coordinating environmental compliance worldwide, and advising on multi-year field program design. Previously DCOP for major FTF horticultural development program in Tanzania, with top-line responsibility for commercial partner alliances. Holds PhD in Entomology from University of Florida.

Manages global IT staff and operations, including strategic and operational oversight of infrastructure, network design, security, new technology deployment, disaster recovery, and licensing and procurement. Expertise in database management, web development, virtualization, and GIS. Holds a BS in Computer Science.
